Wine Makers Comments:
There are many good reasons why Riesling has caught on so well in Northwest Michigan, but all you have to do is taste this wine and you will understand it all in one little sip. There are not many wines that come together so easily in the winery but this 2011 simply seemed to make itself. Maybe it was the perfectly ripe fruit, or the ideal growing season that led to near perfect chemistry, who knows? All I know is that this is exactly the way I want this wine to be, and could not be more ecstatic to see where how it evolves over the next few years.
