In celebration of our rich history with Leelanau Cheese Company, whose creamery was situated in what is now our Barrel Room from 2000 to 2014, we are thrilled to present this exclusive dining experience at the Inn at Black Star Farms. If you prefer a cozy night in rather than dining out during your stay, indulge in a delightful Raclette Dinner for two on a night of your choosing. This engaging and interactive dining tradition hails from the Swiss Alps, featuring an electric tabletop grill with small pans beneath. As meats, potatoes, and vegetables warm on the grill, slices of Raclette cheese melt in the pans, allowing you to create your own personalized dishes—an enjoyable activity for everyone!

SEASONAL FEATURE

Winter Adventure Package

We have the perfect way to get you outdoors this winter to explore the beauty that only rural Northern Michigan Wine Country offers. This exclusive package will provide a day of playing in the snow with fat tire biking and snowshoeing.
 
At 11:00 am, you will be picked up at the Inn and brought to Suttons Bay to pick up your fat tire bikes. Your adventure begins with a four-mile cycle along the groomed Leelanau Trail back to Black Star Farms. When you arrive, a warm lunch of housemade chili and hot cocoa will be waiting for you at the Inn. After your break, strap on your snowshoes and explore our on-site trail system that takes you through forests, orchards, and vineyards. Bike and snowshoe rental is for 24 hours, allowing you to enjoy the day at your pace or to extend your adventure by biking to other wineries or taking your snowshoes to another nearby nature trail.
