New Year’s Eve Wine Dinner

New Year’s Eve 2025 will be an unforgettable celebration at Black Star Farms, enveloping you in the allure of the roaring 20s. Our talented culinary team will curate a remarkable dining experience, featuring artfully crafted dishes and decadent desserts inspired by the Jazz Age. Join us in ringing in the new year with elegance and style, channeling the opulence and glamour of a bygone era.
The evening begins with a welcome reception, followed by dinner at large, communal feasting tables, where conversations and new friendships abound. Formal 1920s-inspired attire is recommended!

Christmas Polish Dinners

Sips & Soups is a heartwarming winter tradition on the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail, where the cozy comforts of homemade soups meet the elegance of local wines. As you make your way from winery to winery, you’ll be treated to creative soup recipes crafted to complement a carefully selected wine at each stop.

A Taste of Piedmont

Join us for a culinary trip to Italy! Experience the flavors of Piemonte through the eyes of a chef who has cooked them in their homeland. Winter School Series: Focaccia
January 10, 2026 | 11 AM – 1 PM
Discover the joy of making soft, golden focaccia in this interactive class. Guided by our culinary team, you’ll learn the fundamentals of high-hydration dough, proper fermentation, and the signature dimpling technique that gives focaccia its airy crumb and crisp, olive-oil-kissed crust.

Weekend Inn Dinner

Celebrate the 2026 Flavor of the Year: Black Currant with a multi-course dinner featuring goat cheese and house-cured lox, pork tenderloin roulade, mushroom risotto, and a decadent pistachio cake with black currant ganache.
Charcuterie Board Workshop

Our catering Sous Chef, Leah Moerdyk, will demonstrate how to put together the perfect board with plenty of fun tips and tricks so you can bring a showstopping board to your next party. Each attendee will leave with a lovely charcuterie board big enough to share with one or two friends, filled with gourmet cheeses, cured meat, nuts, crackers, fruits, veggies, and more.
