Contigo Dogs is thrilled to host the third annual Fall Fido Fest on Sunday, October 26th from 1–4 PM, now at the beautiful Black Star Farms in Suttons Bay! Bring your pup and enjoy an afternoon of fun with 20+ vendors, including rescues, vet clinics, small businesses, and more.

FAQ
Are all dog breeds welcome?
Yes! All well behaved, on leash, dogs are welcome to join the event!
Are muzzled dogs allowed to come?
Yes! Muzzled dogs are still good dogs. We understand that some dogs use muzzles because they pick up rocks or other things in their mouths they shouldn’t. In the event your pup needs a muzzle due to reactivity we ask that you do not bring them. This event can be very overstimulating for dogs and will not set them up for success.
How many dogs can I bring?
As many as you can safely control. We know some handlers are able to walk 2-3 dogs safely and others only 1, please use your best judgement. We want this to be a safe and fun event for everyone.
My dog is very well behaved off leash, do they need a leash too?
Yes. Due to the large volume of dogs and people at the event, we will only accept on-leash dogs on the premises. NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES.
Is there parking available?
Yes. Free parking is available on a first-come first serve basis; however, parking is limited, so we ask that if you can carpool please do so 🙂
Can my 10 week old puppy come?
Yes. All dogs of all ages are welcome to attend. Note: Puppies that young will not have had all of their vaccinations and are not recommended to come in contact with strange dogs. As a way to safely socialize we recommend bringing the pup in a wagon or carrier (sling, backpack, etc).
Is the entire farm dog friendly?
No, certain areas for health code and safety reasons are not dog friendly. We ask that you not take dogs by the horse paddocks so as to not stress the animals. There are posted signs throughout the estate explaining where dogs are/ aren’t allowed.
