Arcturos

This inviting and open space at the Inn is perfect for small to medium-sized events. There is great flexibility for table set-up and a built-in bar for beverage service. The ambient lighting and access to our covered patio make this a relaxing and lovely venue for weddings and anniversaries. It is also a well-suited space for corporate luncheons, meetings, and presentations.

Aquarius

This is the largest of the Inn’s event spaces, accommodating up to 150 guests. The set-up is flexible and can be designed according to your event needs. Aquarius is our most popular wedding venue. It sets up beautifully for an indoor ceremony, with large white pillars framing the room. It has a very neutral palette to accommodate any color scheme. It is also a preferred space for anniversaries and company holiday parties.

Pegasus Barn

Constructed in 1897, this historic barn in Northern Michigan is the perfect venue for a dream-come-true wedding. Completely renovated in 2013, the barn has been transformed into a versatile event space, ideal for weddings, receptions, parties, and other social gatherings. The rustic charm of the original barn wood walls and solid wood floors provide a beautiful backdrop, while the four large posts supporting the cathedral-like high ceilings create a stunning dance floor for memorable first dances.

An attached covered patio opens to a grand view of the property, leading down to a grassy courtyard with a fire pit and open areas for guests to mingle or play yard games. The barn is equipped with handicap-accessible bathroom facilities and can accommodate up to 150 guests, with ample parking available. Open from late spring until mid-fall, typically May through October, this venue has become a favorite for many due to its flexibility and stunning setting.​

Covered Patio

his outdoor site, accessed from the Arcturos and Aquarius event rooms, is located behind the Inn and features a beautifully landscaped courtyard with an ornate rock wall full of seasonal annual and perennial flowers. It is quiet and private and has a view of the terraced vineyard and lush forest.

Stone Patio

This private outdoor site is right off our Inn, attached to the Aquarius room, and surrounded by lush woods. A raised platform altar sets up perfectly for a memorable walk down the aisle, and a charming treehouse is tucked up in the trees.

Barn Courtyard

This private outdoor site is off the back of the Pegasus Barn, with sweeping views of the farm and horse paddocks. Enjoy cocktails and dinner on the raised patio, or relish in the warmth of a fire under a starry night in the courtyard.

Bridal Suite

This private room in our Inn is perfect for bridal parties that do not have onsite overnight accommodations. It features six dressing chairs, two lounge chairs, dress hooks, and ample mirrors.

Bistro Polaris

The Bistro Polaris is a cozy restaurant with indoor dining and a spacious outdoor patio on the Black Star Farms Suttons Bay estate. The restaurant is an excellent venue for smaller parties of up to 40 people. It is perfect for rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, holiday parties, and groups looking for dining while touring the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail.
