CELEBRATING 25 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE IN WINE AND HOSPITALITY!

This year marks our silver anniversary, and to honor this milestone, we plan to celebrate with special offers throughout 2023. In 1998, our co-founding partners, Kerm Campbell and Don Coe, along with head winemaker Lee Lutes, had the vision to create a world-class wine-country destination. Today, that goal has been far exceeded, and our business now includes a highly acclaimed Inn, plus extensive culinary and special events programs.

Our success would not have been possible without our hard-working team, our faithful fans, dedicated wine club members, and repeat Inn guests, to name a few.

In appreciation, we will offer new ways to enjoy Black Star Farms throughout the year. A new sparkling wine release, unique wine-tasting options, creative dining experiences, and family-friendly fall wagon rides are just some exciting things we have in store.

NEW Sunday Brunch on the Farm

Join us at the newly-imagined Bistro Polaris at Black Star Farms Suttons Bay for a special three-course farm-fresh brunch. Our motto is a Sunday well spent brings a week of content!

Choose a starter, entrée, and dessert from the brunch menu, including breakfast and lunch options. Coffee, juice, mimosas, and wines by the glass/carafe will be available for an additional cost. The all-new menu highlights Estate Chef John Korycki’s years of experience with global cuisine while featuring fresh local ingredients from our own and area farms.

Summer Music on the Terrace

Thursdays 6 PM-8 PM through September 2023

Join us for an early evening of live music with Adam Sleder on the Terrace Patio at our Suttons Bay tasting room. Take in the sites and enjoy cocktails made from our spirits, seasonal slushies, and wines by the glass while listening to some great tunes. Adam has been sharing his love for music for 25 years as a member of several bands, including the local favorite Soul Patch, and more recently, as a solo artist. His love of rock, soul, funk, and folk (to name a few), along with his gracious and fun spirit, creates music that people of all ages can groove to. He describes it as songs from the heart, for the heart.”

Come early and walk our onsite recreation trails, visit the horses and goats, or grab a bite at our newly-imagined Bistro Polaris.

Fall Wagon Rides

 October 15, 22, 28, 29, 2023

Join us for special family-friendly wagon rides through our stunning 160-acre winery estate.

Your journey begins with fresh donuts and your choice of mulled wine or hot cider (N/A). Jump aboard our tractor-driven wagon for a 30-minute excursion to the top of our estate. Along the ride, you will view our many boarded horses, travel through a rolling cherry orchard, meander past our terraced vineyard, and, of course, soak in all the beautiful fall colors.

We invite you to make a day of it by enjoying fresh Mediterranean fare at our newly-imagined Bistro Polaris and visiting our tasting room for a flight of wine or one of our special brandy-based cocktails.

Cheers to fall fun in wine country!
