EUROPEAN RIVER WINE CRUISE

July 14-24, 2024

You Adventure Awaits!

We are thrilled and honored to represent the Traverse Wine Coast and Michigan wine on an extraordinary 10-night river cruise with AmaWaterways, the pioneers of modern luxury river cruising. “Oceans take you to countries. Rivers take you through them.”

Let’s journey together on the Rhine and Moselle Delights Wine Cruise. which will take you through Germany, the birthplace of our signature grape, Riesling, along with Switzerland, France, and the Netherlands aboard the AmaCerto, a 162-passenger state-of-the-art boat with many luxurious amenities including spacious staterooms with twin balconies, multiple dining venues, heated pool, Internet/WiFi access, and more.

“Dramatic rivers yielding to fairytale towns and iconic cities all come alive as you discover four countries along the storied Rhine and Moselle. From Switzerland’s pristine cities—Lucerne and Zurich—to the colorful canals of Amsterdam, delve deeply into the history, legends, and culture. Throughout your journey, wander through postcard-perfect towns such as Riquewihr, Freiburg, Bernkastel, and Cochem. Let your inner adventurer out as you hike through vineyards and bike along the rivers. Soar high above the Rhine with a gondola ride in Rüdesheim and above the Moselle with a hike to Reichsburg Castle. Uncover the secrets of Trier’s Porta Nigra—Germany’s oldest city and often referred to as the second Rome. Grand Baroque palaces, whimsical gardens, and a plethora of UNESCO World Heritage Sites provide lovers of enchantment, art, architecture, history, and connoisseurs of fine wine, beer, and food with the best these regions offer.”

During the 10-day cruise, we will be hosting two fun and insightful wine tastings, one of which will put our wines up against the region’s local wines, plus a grand wine-paired dinner with a menu created exclusively around our wines by their highly celebrated culinary team. This is your chance to help us spread the word about the great wines being made in our state!

Take advantage of exclusive early-bird pricing until Tuesday, October 31, available only through our partners at Grand Traverse Travel. You can fill out their inquiry form or email them here with the subject River Wine Cruise, and a representative will get back to you as soon as possible.

We look forward to sharing this once-in-a-lifetime wine adventure with you!

Testimonials

“The cabin, the service, the food, the décor, the professionalism, the crew, the entertainment, the excursions, the Cruise Manager, the music, the cleanliness, the Chef’s Table ‘experience,’ the welcome, the ‘family atmosphere,’ the unrivaled warmth of all the people we met – all of these individually and together meant that AmaWaterways completely and utterly EXCEEDED our expectations. Special mention does need to go to the food, which was truly superb. I sound like I am ‘gushing’ – I am. We have come home to a renewed zeal for AmaWaterways.”

John B.

“Overall, the entire experience exceeded our expectations and was completely wonderful. The staff of the AmaCerto was friendly and efficient. The food was beyond belief and great at each and every meal. Our cruise manager, Victor Cartim, was fantastic. Victor worked tirelessly for all his guests and thought of everything we needed well in advance. We were well prepared for our adventures thanks to Victor’s thoroughness and attention to detail. We are eager to cruise again with AmaWaterways.”

Colleen B. and Don K.

“The trip itself was both spectacular and amazing! I cannot say enough about AMA, it is a first-class operation, and we felt more like honored guests than passengers. Everything went smoothly, especially transfers, and even when it didn’t, it was handled so fast and professionally that it did not matter at all.

Rachel, our Cruise Director, was a big part of that. She was not only so much fun and so energetic and upbeat, but she was also truly an amazing person, and on any cruise she is on, don’t hesitate to recommend her, as she is the ‘secret sauce’! The wines were good to excellent, and the food was excellent to gourmet, far above a standard cruise. The service was awesome. The crew was great. Truly for us, it was a ‘trip of a lifetime’ kind of thing. This trip would be a really, really hard one to top.”
